Condition
Overall in very good condition. The surfaces with minor scattered soiling. The glaze with scattered minor burst air bubbles and surface inclusions, inherent in production. A few of the darker ‘scribbles’ with very minor white areas possibly inherent in production and visible in the catalogue illustration. The underside with scattered light surface scratches, darker areas of rubbing/soiling and scattered darker scuffs. The inner rim with traces of adhesive residue, visible in the online catalogue illustration. The outer edge with a very minor nick to the glaze which measures approximately 4 x 3 mm and is not visually disruptive. The work has been inspected under ultraviolet light and it appears that no visible restoration has been undertaken.
