Condition

Good overall condition. The surface presents with some very light surface scratches. The nickel-plated metal with some pittings of oxidation and some wear to the edges, all consistent with age and use. The glass elements with very few scratches, a minute scuff mark and a few tiny chips of glass around the fixing holes, including a slightly larger surface one of approximately 1 x 0,5 cm. The base might have been re-painted at a later stage and presents with a few minute chips of paint along the edges, not visually distractive. Sotheby's does not guarantee electrical components and recommends having all wiring inspected by a licensed electrician.
