This work is in very good condition overall. The surface variations are consistent with the artist's choice of medium and working method. Under very close inspection, there are a few, scattered minor surface scratches, which is to be expected of a wearable work from this period. There is evidence of very minor, scattered oxidation to the steel wire and to localized small areas on the reverse.
