This work is in very good condition overall. The canvas is unlined and well-stretched. The colors are vibrant, and the media layer is stable overall. Light wear is present along each of the extreme edges of the canvas. Three one-inch bands of paint loss are present, one in the upper right corner, and two in the upper left corner. A very fine three-inch band of paint loss is present along the extreme lower left edge. Two fine white horizontal scuffs are present in the lower left quadrant, measuring two and four inches in length. Two fine horizontal lines of craquelure are present; one in the upper right quadrant measuring four inches in length, the second in the upper center fine horizontal line of craquelure is present in the upper right quadrant, measuring two inches in length. Under ultraviolet light examination, no traces of inpainting were revealed. Unframed.
