Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. The colors are vibrant, and the media layer is stable. Under raking light inspection, a varnish becomes apparent. In the upper right quadrant of the work, a concentrated area of six scattered green spot accretions are present in the brown background. In the center left quadrant, four pinpoint spots of media loss are present in the background to the left of the hair of the smallest girl. One pinpoint spot of dark brown discoloration is present at the extreme lower left edge of the board, two inches from the corner. Minor wear is present to each of the extreme edges of the board. Under ultraviolet light inspection, three one-inch circular areas of fluorescence become apparent, two in the lower left quadrant between the feet of the smallest figure, and one in the upper left quadrant, two inches from the upper edge of the board.
