Condition
This work is in very good and structurally sound condition overall. There are minor wear and handling marks seen throughout, as well as scattered dust accumulations in the crevices seen especially in the central shell cavity. There are faint scuff marks at the very bottom tip of each of the legs, on which the sculpture rests. These scuffs are not readily visible when viewing the sculpture from a straight-on angle. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there are two spots that slightly fluoresce along the top arch of the dog's proper left front shell (adjacent to the hind left shell), possibly a result of re-touching or cleaning.
