This work has been restored and should be and should be hung in its current state. Due to the artist's chosen technique, these works tend to exhibit instability, and in this case, small intermittent paint losses have occurred throughout the composition. The losses have been carefully and successfully retouched, and the retouches are visible under ultraviolet light. Overall, some colors have remained stable, such as the colors in the cross and the mottled red and ochre triangle in the lower right. There are no signs that the paint layer will continue to be unstable, but it is recommended that the work be carefully handled.
