Condition
Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is brighter and more vibrant in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Inspection in raking light reveals some light canvas draw to the upper corners of the centre and right panels. Extremely close inspection reveals some thin tension cracks to the extreme outer edges and a few minute and unobtrusive media accretions in isolated places. Further close inspection reveals some light rubbing to the extreme edges, most notably to the edges which are adjoining, which is consistent with the installation of the work. There are some drying cracks to the left hand canvas. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
