Condition

Colour: The colours in the cataogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is slightly deeper and richer in the original. Condition: This work is in good condition. Close inspection reveals some rubbing to the central edges of the two adjoining canvases, which is in keeping with previous installation of the work. The canvases are slack, and there is some light canvas draw to the upper corners of the right hand side canvas. There are some horizontal creases to the lower half of the composition on the right hand side canvas. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals a number of dark spots of fluorescence to the left hand side canvas, towards the upper edge.
