Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is deeper and richer in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. The sheet is attached verso to the backing mount and undulates. There are artist’s pinholes to the upper corners and all four edges are deckled. Close inspection reveals some drying cracks to the orange pigment on the centre of the left edge.
