Mrs. Hale or Mary Chaloner (1744-1803), sister in law of Edward Lascelles, later 1st Earl of Harewood, is represented as Euphrosyne, one of the Three Graces, the personification of Grace and Beauty and handmaiden to Venus. The original painting by the reknown English painter Sir Joshua Reynolds is currently hanging at Harewood House, still home of the Lascelles family.
