Christie's London, The Nineteenth Century Interior, 24 February 2000, lot 136.
A similar pair of candelabra with soldiers and military trophies was sold at Christie's New York, Nineteenth Century Furniture, Sculpture, Works of Art and Ceramics, 10 October 2001, lot 316 ($19,975).
Overall in good conserved condition. Drilled for electricity and Sotheby's recommends using a professional electrician for re-wiring. Some elements slightly loose and would benefit from tightening of screws. A dramatic pair of candelabra.
