Condition

A dramatic pair of chairs in overall good condition. The 18th century upholstery with evidence of wear and tear, but in reasonablly good order and would benefit from a gentle clean. Rubbing and losses to parcel gilding notably to armrests. Evidence of old worm, which no longer appears to be active. The corner of one upright with a repaired break to reverse. Chairs are sound and sturdy, ready to use.
