Generally in good restored condition. Paint and parcel gilding probably not original, but attractively worn with typical marks, chips, marks and rubbing, consistent with age and use. Joints sound and sturdy with typical signs of movement along joints of construction. Upholstery in good condition. Underside with later strengthening batons. Caning not original, but in good order. Evidence of old worm, which no longer appears to be active. Would benefit from further cosmetic attention, according to taste, but is ready to use.
