Condition

In country house condition. Later gilding with ingrained dirt and would benefit from a gentle clean. Evidence of original gilding beneath. Old repairs to historic breaks and generally the gilded surface and carved elements with chips and losses consistent with age and use. Incoroporating a beveled early 18th century mirror plate which the mirror was apparently made for in the mid-18th century. Backboards later replacements. Please consult department for images of the reverse.
