7-inch dial with mask and scroll spandrels, matted centre with mock pendulum and date apertures, signed in a plain reserve Louis Steiner, London, the arch with a day of the week sector engraved with attendant deities above subsidiary regulation and tune selection dials, the five pillar three train fusee movement with pivoted verge escapement and rise and fall regulation, striking on a bell, chiming the quarters and playing one of two tunes on a nest of nine bells with eighteen hammers at each hour, the backplate engraved with birds and foliate scrolls, the brass-bound case with inverted bell top and ball finials above finely pierced and engraved gilt-brass frets, fluted pilasters, side handles, similar side frets and bracket feet,
