A George III three-wheel weight-driven timepiece in a small mahogany long case, William Bull, Stratford, circa 1790 and later
5-inch silvered dial with seconds sector and hours sector enclosed by the minute ring and signed Willm Bull, Stratford, the weight-driven movement comprising three wheels with anchor escapement, the escape wheel revolving once every three minutes, the centre wheel revolving once per hour and the great wheel revolving once in twelve hours, seconds pendulum, Huygens endless winding, the backplate extended and with steel wall spurs, brass dust cover, the later mahogany case with broken-arch top and brass ball finials above stop-fluted brass-capped hood pillars and brass door frets, shaped trunk door, the panelled plinth with stepped base and shaped apron
