Pile variable from 3mm down to knotheads in localised areas of wear, for example sections of the medallion - notably upper left hand side. Upper and lower outer guards lacking, now with trimmed fringing and overlocked. A section of tension to warp lower right of madder field, above blue spandrel. Would benefit from a professional clean. With soft colouring, even and well spaced drawing. A very decorative and charming example of the genre.
