  • each approximately 226cm. by 76.5cm. and 223cm. by 79cm.; 7ft. 5in by 2ft. 6¼in. and 7ft. 3¾in., 2ft. 7in.
each silk panel decorated profusely with a repeated foliate pattern with variations to birds, laid on later panels and now with split bamboo frames

Condition

Very decorative. Wear and old marks and scratches from installation and as to be expected of silk of this great age. There are some consolidate splits and historic wear as well as more recent. Bamboo is modern and has splits as well as some protruding nails which need to be flattened. Laid on new plywood panels.
