four illustrations for Samuel Butler's Hudibras, plate 3 and 4 on one sheet and plate 7 and 8 on another, comprising; Hudibras First Adventure, Hudibras Catechiz'd, Hudibras and the Lawyer and Hudibras Beats Sidrophel (275mm x 350mm) together with plates 1 to 3 from the Four Stages of Cruelty (390mm x 320mm) and Portrait of Martin Folkes (335mm x 235mm) and Frontispiece to Tristram Shandy (460mm x 330mm) as well as The Man of Taste / Rich's Triumphant Entry, Some Principal Inhabitants of the Moon: Royalty, Episcopacy and Law and "Masquerade Ticket" [printed together], The Farmers Return, Columbus Breaking the Egg and two portraits [printed together] by Joseph Haynes, after Hogarth. (12 sheets of wove paper in total each approximately 630mm x 480mm overall)

Condition

Impressions good. Margins with tears, marks and stains. Last impression with tear at lower plate mark. Gallery inspection recommended. Additional images can be provided.
