This panel's design is from the series of the 'Story of Ulysses,' with Ulysses handing a sack to a seated figure, with an architectural setting to the left and a seascape to the right.

While no specific workshop is associated with the series of 'The Story of Ulysses,' the figure style, compositional details, and the use of color are close to those made in England (see H. C. Marillier, English Tapestries of the Eighteenth Century, London, 1930, pp. 112-113). Antwerp was known to have woven tapestries in the English style to supply the sizable market for hangings in England.
