Bronze, dark brown patina. The sculpture is offered with a wooden base. There is surface dirt and dust and minor scattered accretions throughout. There is minor burnishing at the high points, especially at the top of the horse's ears and nostrils, and on the rider's proper left shoulder and helmet.
