Condition
The illustration of the catalogue is accurate. Good overall condition. There are the inevitable dents, marks and scratches due to age and use. One nail is missing to the leather of one seat. There are stains and wear to the leather elements of both armchairs and the gilding frames of one armchair leather elements are rubbed and tarnished. The leather elements of one armchair are later. The black lacquer is probably later. The constructions are firm and sound.
