inscribed and dated 1675 (?) the face opening to a one-eyed skull, the handle shaped as a snake biting the nail of a fish

Condition

The ivory in good condition overall with a few vertical fissures to the surface visible at several places, probably due to influence of humidity.The handle appears to have been reattached. A few small losses to the upper edges of the cup. Indististinct inscription on the upper rim.
