comprising: a pair of candlesticks, circular base in black stone, Russia, late 19th century ; a pair of French neogothic style tripod candlesticks, early 20th century ; a Russian bronze paperweight shaped as a lying peasant, rectangular wooden base, late 19th century ; a Russian gilt bronze and malachite figural stamp box in the shape of a peasant counting his coins, late 19th century ; a hinged box in the shape of a book, the cover adorned with an oval portrait of a water bearer on a malachite background, Russia, late 19th century

Condition

Pair of candlesticks: overall in good condition, stable base. Minor chips to the rims of the base. Remnants of wax in the sconces. Pair of French neogothic style tripod candlesticks: overall in good condition. Minor scratches, dents, oxidation marks consistent with age and handling. Remnants of wax in the sconces. Paperweight: overall in good condition. Scratches on the base consistent with age and handling. Stamp box: overall in good condition, stable. Minor scratches, dents and oxidation marks consistent with age and handling, especially on the inside of the box. Back left and right corners of the box slightly detached of each other, does not affect the stability. Box in the shape of a book: overall in good condition. Craquelures and losses to the paint on the oval portrait. Tears to the fabric on the inside, consistent with age and handling. Velvet in good condition. Minor chips and scratches to the malachite.
