Condition
The illustration of the catalogue is accurate. There are the inevitable dents, marks and scratches due to age and use. There are some chips to the stairs and to the edges of the ladder. The painting with slightly rubbed, revealing the wood underneath and traces of previous green and dark grey paintings. As stated in the catalogue, the ladder wears the mark BN. PARIS. The construction is firm and sound.
