Condition

The smaller skull: with a large split visible to the back and fairly consistent wood worming all over the surface with a loss to its proper left eye socket. A few teeth are missing or partly missing. Numerous holes are visible on both sides of the skull and on the back. Its proper left cheekbone is broken and reattached with two joints visible. The larger skull: the back with two pieces carved separately (or possibly an old repair) with two joints visible and a loss to the lower left. There are a few splits visible in several places with a larger one to the back. Wood worming is visible in several places. Both cheekbones are missing. There are a few losses to the lower edge of the upper jaw. The skull has been coated with an old varnish.
