Condition
Collage on cream wove paper, attached to the backing board in all four corners and floating in its mount. The sheet is gently undulating and the elements of the collage are stable. There is some minor crease and staining to the collage which are probably inherent to the medium. Book: there are scratches to the surface of the cover and losses towards the upper left edge. Overall this work is in good condition.

This object collage was made to accompany the deluxe edition of 30 copies of the book by Georges Hugnet, L'Aventure Dada, Paris, Galerie de l'Institut, 1957, which is also included in this lot. The cover of the book was designed by Marcel Duchamp.
