painted with a general, possibly Guo Ziyi, holding a tablet and accompanied by his attendant and maiden, with an inscription and two seals reading Xichang Wang Qi and Taozhai
Condition
The plaque and stand are in overall good condition.
There are a few scratches to the surface glaze including two scratches near the inscription, 2 and 1.5 cm , a few others to the lower right corners. There are some pinholes or pin-size iron spots. There is some surface soiling that can be cleaned and light rubbing to the enamels but overall these have been well preserved.

王琦（1884-1937年），江西省新建縣人，「珠山八友」之一，此八友皆為文人雅士，於二十世紀初名噪一時。王琦善用快筆抒寫，所繪人物新穎離奇，留白處附草書題詩，洋洋灑灑。另見王琦款插屏一例，繪鍾馗，展於《瓷藝與畫藝 : 二十世紀前期的中國瓷器》，香港藝術館，香港，1990年，編號22及23；另一例，繪孤山放鶴圖，錄於 D.S. Howard，《A Tale of Three Cities: Canton, Shanghai and Hong Kong》，倫敦，1997年，圖版357，後售於倫敦蘇富比2007年11月7日，編號483。另比粉彩八仙圖瓷板一套四屏，1930年作，售於紐約蘇富比2015年3月17日，編號295。
