sturdily potted with rounded lobed sides, rising from a tapered foot to a barbed everted rim, the interior centred with a foliate and lozenge-diapered panel, surrounded by floral scrolls around the cavetto, covered overall in a lustrous olive-green glaze, save for the wide ring on the base fired burnt-orange
Condition
The charger is in overall very good condition. There is an shrinkage in the glaze extending from the rim onto the interior of the dish of 7cm, visible at 9 o'clock on the catalogue photo, original to the piece. There is a minute kiln grit to the interior and a small gap in the glaze on the underside.
