Both thangkas are rather worn with creases and horizontal folds or tears as visible on the photo. There are also losses of enamels to both as visible on the photo. The condition of the mandala of Vairochana which is very finely painted is somewhat better and the pigment better preserved than on the Vajrayogini‎.
