清十八至十九世紀 白玉貫耳瓶

of flattened and quadrilobed baluster form, rising from a splayed foot to a waisted neck set with a pair of tubular handles, the smooth polished stone of an even white colour

There are some minute nicks along the rim and the foot, one corner of the inner foot ring has been polished. The vase is in otherwise very good condition.

此瓶形制源於早期青銅酒器，比較一西周青銅壺，陝西省出土，現存扶風縣博物館，錄於《中國青銅器全集》，卷5，北京，1996年，圖版146。此一高古青銅器形，又稱投壺，經宋一朝，各類材質兼而有之。

本件貫耳瓶溫雅素淨，雕工洗練，盡顯白玉瑩潔之態，可比較一白玉瓶，售於巴黎蘇富比2009年6月11日，編號246。另比較乾隆玉器一組三件，其一為投壺，刊於《故宮博物院藏文物珍品全集：玉器（下）》，香港，1995年，圖版70。
