each decorated with a cartouche enclosing a lotus pond scene, against a coral-red ground gilt with lotus scrolls, the waisted neck similarly painted with a bat suspending a peach, further flanked by a pair of gilt-decorated archaistic dragon handles, the base with an apocryphal Qianlong mark
Condition
The head of the left chilong of the left vase and the tail of the left chilong of the right vase have been broken and restuck. The enamels have been generally well preserved with expected rubbing to the gilt decoration.
