of quatrelobed form, one side centred with an oval raised gilt band enclosing the characters zhaijie ('abstinence'), surrounded by a floral scroll against a white ground, the reverse similarly rendered and inscribed in Manchu script with bolgomi karga ('purity charm [pendant]'), all within gilt and moulded sides, pierced vertically through the centre with an aperture

Condition

The plaque is in good condition.‎ There is some expected light rubbing to the gilding ‎along the edges as visible on the photo.
