the bowl centred with three boys at play on the interior, the exterior painted with two figural scenes divided by two poems, the base with an apocryphal Chenghua mark; the censer raised on three ruyi-feet, the exterior encircled by a taotie and key-fret band between raised fillets
Condition
The censer is in good condition with only a few typical firing imperfections, including a couple of minute discoloured air bubbles to the ridges of the exterior. The metal cover of the censer is in good condition. The bowl with some expected fritting to the rim. There are three small chips to the mouth rim of the bowl, as well as few speckles to the interior, otherwise the bowl is in good condition.
