The two snakes' heads linked with a pearl, each embellished with a cushion-shaped sapphire, enhanced with circular-cut diamonds, to an articulated gold body, necklace length approximately 380mm, can be worn as two bracelets, each bracelet length approximately 180mm, French assay mark for 18 carat gold, total gross weight approximately 80.36 grams, fitted case stamped Paul Rodin.
Condition
French assay mark for 18 carat gold. Sapphires measuring approximately 6.6 x 6.2mm, depth not measurable, and 6.4 x 6.3mm, depth not measurable, well matched in colour, blue of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, abrasions and nicks to the surface. Pearl of slightly cream body colour, with slight rosé overtones, minor surface blemishes. Diamonds bright and lively. Signs of wear and tarnish to the metal consistent with age. In good condition. Total gross weight approximately 80.36 grams. Case stamped Paul Rodin.
