Claw-set with a cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 12.83 carats, to baguette diamond shoulders, size 48, signed Chaumet, French assay marks for platinum and partial maker's mark, gross weight approximately 5.84 grams.

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 99874 and Gübelin report no.18070120, both stating that the sapphire is of Kashmir origin, with no indications of heating. Underside of setting signed Chaumet Paris. Shank stamped with French assay mark for platinum, and very faint French maker's mark JC with star and crescent moon for Chaumet. Sapphire mid to deep blue, good saturation, transparent, with typical minor inclusions, some visible to the naked eye, some areas of wear and very minor chips to facet edges, mainly on crown. Sapphire measuring approximately 14.0 x 13.15 x 6.75mm, weighing 12.83 carats. Diamonds bright and lively. Scratches to surfaces consistent with wear, overall in good condition. Gross weight approximately 5.84 grams.
