NATURAL PEARL AND DIAMOND BANGLE, 1910S

The front set with natural pearls, one brown and two cream measuring from approximately 5.0-7.0mm, highlighted with cushion-shaped diamonds, inner circumference approximately 160mm, French import assay marks for 18 carat gold and platinum, gross weight approximately 28.30 grams, fitted case stamped J & P. Bapst.

Accompanied by LFG report no. 347772, stating that the pearls are natural, saltwater, with no indications of treatment. Stamped with French import assay marks for 18 carat gold and platinum. Side of bangle engraved '1864 - 16 Janvier - 1889'. Largest central pearl measuring approximately 7mm diameter, smaller pearls approximately 5mm diameter each. Central pearl slighly oval in shape, smaller pearls slighly bouton in shape. Central pearl of light golden brown body colour, side pearls of cream body colour, each with green and rosé overtones, overall good lustre. Faint scratches and small areas of minor unevenness, minor crazing and other minor blemishes to nacre surfaces. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.30 - 0.50 carats. Light scratches to metal consistent with wear. Clasp closing securely, with additional safety chain. Overall in good condition. Gross weight approximately 28.30 grams. Fitted case stamped J & P. Bapst.
