描述

Of gas pipe linking, designed as a Herculean knot centring on a circular-cut citrine weighing approximately 47.42 carats, length approximately 180mm, French assay and import mark for 18 carat gold and partial maker's mark,  gross weight approximately 83.92 grams.

Condition

Stamped with French import mark to tongue, and French assay and indistinct maker's mark to citrine collet. Citrine measuring approximately 26.3 x 26.4 x 15.3mm, calculated to weigh approximately 47.42 carats, brownish orange of medium strong saturation, with some minor inclusions, colour zoning and abrasions to facet edges. Signs of wear, very light scratches and areas of light tarnish to the metal consistent with age and wear, clasp secure, overall in good condition. Gross weight approximately 83.92 grams.
