Arabic and Persian manuscript on paper, 391 leaves plus 1 fly-leaf, 18 lines to the page written in black naskh or red nasta’liq, ruled in blue, red and gold, titles in gold thuluth within polychrome and gold cartouches, occasional words marking the division in red ink in the margins, illuminated frontispiece decorated with finely interlacing scrolls against a gold ground, in a lacquer contemporaneous binding decorated with a central medallion with flowers against a scrolling ground

Condition

In good condition, some pages slightly loose, the margins are clean with minor stains and occasional rubbing to the ink, binding with minor restorations and cracquelure throughout, as viewed.
