拍品資料及來源

This interesting model is likely to show the nerve system based on Tashrih-i badan-i insan (The Anatomy of the Human Body, also known as Mansur's anatomy), a medical text by Mansur ibn Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Yusuf ibn Ilyas (died early 15th century).
Each vertebra of the spine is numbered and the different types of nerves are distinguished by different colours. A similar drawing is illustrated in Portmann 2013, p.32.
