comprising three fritware dishes, decorated in underglaze cobalt blues, green, black and bole red, one with red ground and abstract design, two with central saz leaf and floral tufts, including carnations and tulips with scroll and wave borders

Condition

The red ground dish with external edge abraded and chipped, also to internal rim and small losses and chips to centre, hairline craquelure to glaze, the underside of foot with glaze mainly missing, small chips to foot rim, discoloration to exterior. The saz leaf containing dots with firing issues to glaze resulting in discoloration (darkish brown) to centre of interior and exterior, two drill holes for hanging to foot ring, abrasion to external edge, pitting and hairline cracks to glaze. The smaller dish with broken stem of carnation intact, abrasion to external rim, drill hole to footring, few hairline scratches to glaze, some pitting, part of old collector's label remaining near edge, discoloration in firing, as viewed.
