jade of pale celadon tone with grey striation, carved in low relief to exterior with three-stem florettes within lobed medallions, rim with border of stylised quatrefoil petals, with a chrysanthemum-shaped foot, paper circular collector's label '171'

Ex-collection Dr Gordon Fryers (1922-2008) and Dr Rosemary Fryers (1922-1994).
The collection was formed in the mid-twentieth century, mainly purchased through auction houses and dealers in London (this piece is no.171 in their collection). 

Condition

With a hairline vertical inclusion to one side, a small part of rim with break and associated restoration, very minor nicks to rim, old label to underside of foot, as viewed.
