pear-shaped body with tapering cylindrical neck terminating in an unglazed slightly flaring mouth, decorated in underglaze cobalt blue with a register of four lotus roundels reserved against a foliate ground, horizontal bands containing scrolling vines, lotus blossoms, neck with arcade of vertical panels with dot and palmette motif

Condition

The glaze and cobalt blue strong, break to mouth with associated repair, including overpainting and minor infill, chips to mouth rim, losses and chips to glaze and footring, crazing and hairline cracks to glaze, as viewed.
