This work is in very good condition. Close inspection reveals surface small abrasions, handling marks and rubbing which are in keeping with the artist's working process. There are tiny pull threads to the net.

Molinier ne laisse rien au hasard. Il confectionne, bricole, retaille, coud, peint…  Personne ne doit intervenir, si ce n’est lui, sur l’objet de ses désirs, y compris sur ce mannequin qu’il  habillera et maquillera pour le mettre en scène dans des poses souvent déconcertantes et toujours suggestives tout au fil de sa carrière d’agitateur sulfureux mais inspiré. Molinier does not leave anything up to chance. He makes, fiddles, carves, sews, paints… No one but him may  intervene with the subject of his desires, including this mannequin which he’ll dress and disguise and stage in different poses, usually disconcerting and almost always suggestive ones, throughout his provocative yet inspired agitator’s career.
