with long beard of symmetricaly arranged corkscrew curls, parted lips, large heavy-lidded eyes, and furrowed brow, his hair bound in a fillet and surmounted by a wreath of ivy leaves and berries; no restorations.

Condition

Tip of nose, front of lower lip, and outer sides of upper lip, and upper eyelids chipped as shown; ends of beard curls fragmentary; ivy berries and leaves on proper right side more weathered than on proper left side; area of heavy incrustation along proper left side of face and hair; surface with minor chips and abrasions overall and with remains of root marks overall; back is broken off.
