A Roman Marble Bust of a Young Satyress, circa 1st/2nd Century A.D.
the head turned to her right, with childlike features and pointed ears, her hair arranged in a plait on the crown and surmounted by a wreath of ivy leaves and berries, the ends of a fillet falling over the shoulders and terminating in a necklace strung with ivy leaves centering a cluster of berries; no restorations.
Height 14.5 cm.
