Condition

Jar was broken in several pieces in ancient or modern times. Resultant cracks and repairs were filled. Possible restorations along some of these breaks and cracks. Lid fits jar very well but, as is often the case with canopic jars, one cannot be certain that both elements belonged together in antiquity. Both head and jar with nicks and abrasions overall.
