David Weisbart (1915-1967) was an important figure in the Hollywood Motion Picture picture industry who gained acclaim after producing Rebel Without A Cause. This iconic film starring James Dean was released in 1955, the same year Weisbart acquired Hurrah for Christmas. At the time of his death in 1967, Weisbart was producing the high profile movie Valley of the Dolls. He was the youngest producer under contract in the history of Warner Brothers.
