The canvas has not been lined and is securely attached to a keyed wooden stretcher. There are some areas of minor, hairline craquelure notably in the white pigments of the snow - however this is only visible upon close inspection. With the exception of some scattered pin-head sized spots of cosmetic retouching, which are addressing some thinness in the paint attributable to recent cleaning, this work appears to be in very good condition and is ready to hang. Presented in a decorative gilt frame.
